What are the differences between coins vs tokens?
- Coins: Typically have their own native blockchain (e.g., BTC, ETH, XRP).
- Tokens: Built on top of an existing blockchain like Ethereum (ERC-20 tokens) or Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20 tokens).
For instance, an ERC-20 token can only reside on the Ethereum network. A BEP-20 token can only reside on the Binance Smart Chain.
